TITLE
Marc Sheinblum, graduated from Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts with his Bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine in 2008. He then went on to receive his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2011 from Stony Brook University.
Through clinical education, Marc has been exposed to a variety of different physical therapy settings including outpatient orthopedics, acute care, and geriatrics, and has dealt with different patient populations including athletes and the elderly. Dr. Sheinblum has also assisted in the development of Spectrum’s Occupational Health program and plans to receive his CFCE (Certified Functional Capacity Evaluator) certification to aid in providing the appropriate and necessary care for occupations involving manual labor.
Dr. Sheinblum has participated in a 10 week internship at Harvard University with the Strength and Conditioning program. The roles of this internship included designing and implementing exercise programs for a variety of varsity sports including football, baseball, lacrosse, track and field, basketball, crew, and fencing.
Marc prides himself on using effective manual therapy techniques to provide quality care to each individual patient. He plans on continuing his education and receiving his CFMT (Certified Functional Manual Therapist) certification through the IPA (Institute of Physical Arts).
